I will be pulling for Kansas to win the title since they knocked out the Pack and the Heels. Might as well pull for them and hope both State and Carolina fans can say, "Well at least they won the title after taking us out."

At least Duke did beat Kansas for a championship earlier in the year I'm pulling for Kansas as well.

I think that fans who are pulling for Kansas are going to have to pull reeeally hard. They are a match for Ohio State, but they don't seem to me to be in Kentucky's league.
Form really held in this tournament. Five major conferences were represented in the Elite Eight. Five schools either tied for or won their regular season championship. Another, Louisville, was the Big East Tournament champ. And no conference placed more than one in the Final Four.
Whoever wins will be a legitimate champion. Wouldn't it be great if we could get something at least similar to this in football? Give me a playoff among the four highest ranked conference champions and I'll be satisfied.

I agree Ken, but I just cannot bring myself to pull for Kentucky. Actually, I may even pull for Ohio State. I have nothing against them and I like Thad Matta. Heck, if Duke is going to be looking for the next head coach, I'd start with Thad, personally. He's a great coach.
I just cannot bring myself to pull for a John Calipari coached team. I can't do it.

I agree with your assessment of Matta. He's an under the radar guy with one of the best W-L percentages in college basketball. His stats put him right up there with Cal, K, Roy, Mark Few and the like.
Personally, I don't share the animosity toward Calipari. I would be happy to have my kids play for him, and I think it's clear that the ones who do play for him love and respect the guy. Like Jerry Tarkanian, another great coach who has been snubbed by the Hall of Fame, I think he gets a bad rap.

Ken, you know disagreements are not allowed on this board without name calling and hateful comments. You should know better!

I agree that Kentucky will be really hard to beat, but I still hope Kansas can take them down. I'm a State fan, so naturally I pull for the underdog, haha!

KenD, I seem to remember a few teams that seemed to be physically overwhelming talentwise but came up short in the title chase. Michigan with the Fab 5 especially comes to mind.

And Georgetown and Houston as well. I just don't see anyone pitching a "perfect game" the way Villanova did, though. For my money, that has to be the best single game any college team has played in my memory.

I would agree, but I also don't think the talent disparity is as great between Kentucky and any of the other 3 teams in this year's Final 4. So, their opponents will have to play well to win, but not "out of their ever lovin' minds" well like Nova.
