Wow, a guy creates his own pack forum and then comes to post negatives for NC on the one discussing the NC/Dook game. I guess the pack forum is not working out as well as originally thought. The format for this one is very nice. Good job Tizu!!! I said nothing negative! I just made a prediction. This forum has been very good so far, let's not get into the typical WRAL poo throwing contest. Carolina was definitely on a mission tonight, and they got the job done.

The Wear brothers are averaging 10 pt. per game at UCLA. They would have been part of this team. How much better would Carolina, depth-wise, if those two weren't at UCLA. In fact Travis scored 16 pt. yesterday beating a good Washington team. With the injuries to Strickland, and McDonald, this team has shown its heart and has overcome a lot of adversity. Roy has shown he can get the best out of his teams. Great job of preparing his team last night. The were going to make Duke beat them inside and not outside. They came out aggressive and looking to score. Great game plan and execution by a great coach and team.

i agree with your entire post Cuss, except our depth issue isnt on the front line, im good with McAdoos progression this year, now "next" year is where we may hurt at the loss of the wears.

Next season Carolina will have some talented players coming back, especially if Marshall stays. But how can any team lose players like Zeller, Henson and Barnes and not fall off sharply? The Wears would add depth to next year's frontcourt, but they wouldn't be an upgrade in talent compared to UNC's returning players. I am most interested in seeing how well Marshall can do without that front line. You only get an assist when the guy you make the great pass to finishes the play. Those three were great finishers. They also let Marshall overplay on defense to an opponent's weak side, knowing that anybody who got by him were being funneled into those three in the paint. If Carolina stays at or near the top of the ACC next year, there won't be any argument about who should be COY in my book.

Whether UNC drops a little, State goes up, etc., next year is going to be a great year for ACC bball. A lot of first year coaches will have a season under their belt and there's some great talent coming in for several schools. I just hope the conference can regain the title of "THE conference" and the Big East takes a dive!
