DNP - coach's decision last night against Michigan. Is the competition turning him into a head case? If so, do you think he will transfer, given the talent coming in next year?

I was a little puzzled by K's remarks. It didn't sound like he was praising Dawkins, et al for earning minutes. It didn't sound like he was encouraging a valued player who was trying to fight his way out of a slump. It sounded like he was chastizing Sulaimon, possibly for lack of effort - either in games or in practice.
Am I reading too much into that?

I got out of it exactly what you said. I don't think anyone knows for sure (other than the folks on the inside) what's going on...but it does appear to be "spoiled brat syndrome". He's not working hard and giving the effort needed in practice so Dawkins / Jones are getting his minutes.
After the game Tuesday, Tyler Thornton was interviewed and was asked about why Sulaimon wasn't playing. He basically said "he needs to take care of business, we need him on the court.." It really sounded like a lack of effort / trying / temper tantrum type issue. He's got to learn to play with people that are better than him. He may transfer out...but to me that'd be really silly at this point, he'd be a Junior next year, he'd have to sit out his Junior year and come back as a Senior, but still have 1 year of eligibility left. I don't think it'd be a very wise decision. The best thing he can do right now is get his act together and play, then enter the draft...he's got the talent, just not the right attitude.

Since this only his second year, he would have two more seasons of eligibility if he transfers.

I know, which means when he can play again, he'll be a senior (1 year), then he'd have another year after that of eligibility, so long as he does Post-Graduate Education.

I know, which means when he can play again, he'll be a senior (1 year), then he'd have another year after that of eligibility, so long as he does Post-Graduate Education. He doesn't need to be a graduate student in order to have a fifth year of eligibility. That only comes into play if an athlete wants to play for another school without sitting out for a year.
