It has been long known these two big time recruits (Okafor #1 overall and Jones #4, #1 PG) would be a package deal. Kansas and Duke were the final two schools in the mix. This time, Duke beat Kansas...not on the court, but in the recruiting battle.
Big time recruits. Jahlil is a true back to the basket center, he's big, strong, and can score in bunches.
Jones is a huge get for PG. Duke hasn't had a true "excellent" PG in a while. It's going to be really interesting next year to see how these guys do.
GO DUKE!

Do you think Parker would stay another year if Duke doesn't win the NCAAT this year? Picture a lineup that includes Okafor, Parker, Jefferson, Hood, Sulaimon, Cook and Jones. I don't care who Kentucky recruits. That team would be tough to beat.

Funny current commentary when we're asking if there's any chance a kid will stay in college two years, huh?
I know the NBA couldn't give a @#$% less about college basketball but the MLB rule, to me, is the best compromise.

Jabari has stated on more than one occasion that he intends to stay in school for longer than a year, that he values education and he'd like to try to graduate in 3 years. Now, will that hold true once the millions are flashed in front of him? I have no idea...but boy wouldn't that be one hell of a team??? Holy Cow.

Add the #4 SF Justise Winslow to Coach K's recruiting class. Propelled Duke to the #1 spot in recruiting for 2014...and word is the #2 overall Center Myles Turner is now leaning toward Duke. Wow...put me on the payroll, coach!

Jahlil Okafor named National High School Player of the Year yesterday. Great accomplishment for this young man.
Tyus Jones was named Player of the Year in the state of Minnesota.
Excited about these guys for next year...but they will be just freshmen...it'll be interesting to see if Parker stays...I think Hood is going to go from everything I've heard...but Parker...there's a real chance he could return next year. Myles Turner is not yet out of the discussion for Duke either. He was quoted recently as saying he could definitely see himself playing alongside Jahlil at the center position.
