LOL! Pretty much! I kept switching back and forth between that and football and thought the race was in a continuous caution...bore fest, indeed.

It really sucks to me, and here's why (solely my own thoughts): years ago, Daytona and Talladega were exciting because of the ....... R A C I N G. Now, it's just either a 200 or 188 lap sphincter-clincher wondering when "The Big One" will happen. There used to be passes. Now we have pitstops. Sad ......

Yep, you're right. I feel the same way. Restrictor plate racing has gotten so damn boring it's nearly impossible to watch.

Well, for the most part, you are right. Some races are fun to watch, though...those are few and far between now. NASCAR has to do something to change that...to get their fan base excited again. The only thing keeping them going at this point are Dale Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick...and Jr. hasn't won more than 1 race a year in several years, most years, not even that. It's sad.
I don't know what they could do to "spice it up", but they gotta figure something out.

Shorten the races, cut ownership limits to two teams, make that strict (i.e., no more Hendrick Motorsports having 4 cars, but also providing engines and chassis to Stewart-Haas who themselves next year will go from 3 to 4 cars, hence why I refer to SHR as 'Hendrick Light'), lessen the total number of races, limit spoiler heights to 3 inches, cut the engines down to V6, and take off the restrictor plates.

Well, that certainly will "give it spice"!
