All I can say is what a tale of two halves and the momentum swing just before halftime. Duke was down 22-0 late in the 2nd quarter. I still for the life of me cannot figure out why UVA went for 2 on what ended up being their last score. That seemed to light a fire under Duke players and coaching staff.
Duke scored near the end of the first half...and they kept scoring for 35 unanswered points to beat UVA. What a great cokeback for them! 5-2 and 1 game away from bowl eligibility...I really hope they do it! VT is by far their toughest game to date and will probably need nothing short of a miracle to win..but boy would that be awesome.
Keep doing your thing Duke!

Duke doesn't, by default, land the "best" recruits, but last year and this year Duke is showing what heart, character, discipline, and - yes - intelligence in a player can get you when you combine all of that with a head coach and a coaching staff that know what the hell they're doing.
I honestly hope Coach Cutcliffe and his staff remain intact at Duke for years to come, for Duke football's sake if nothing else.

Absolutely agree! I love Cutcliffe and the coaching staff! They are doing an awesome job, it's taken some time to get some guys in, but it appears he's getting some now and it's starting to show. They may never get the top 5 star QB/RB/WR/LB/DB, etc....but they have a LOT of 3 star guys coming in and we all know they usually produce 1 or 2 diamonds in the rough.
Great job, boys...keep it up!

Great comeback by the Blue Devils. I like Cutcliffe and have really grown to appreciate Duke's decision to stand by him through thick and thin. It's something you really don't see these days in the 'win big and win now' days and it appears to be paying off. Good luck against VT.

Agreed, I'm glad they are sticking with Coach Cut, and the other way around as well. He could have been gone several times, but he's a Duke guy now and I love that he is!
