Last year's picks for first team All-ACC (where they were picked at the end of the year in parentheses):
Michael Snaer (3rd team) Lorenzo Brown 3rd team) James McAdoo (2nd team) CJ Leslie (3rd team) Reggie Johnson (no votes)
The actual first team (where they were picked in parentheses):
Erick Green (2nd team) Mason Plumlee (2nd team) Richard Howell (3rd team) Shane Larkin (no votes) Joe Harris (no votes)
And when I say no votes here, I mean they weren't picked in any of the four teams.
Rodney Purvis was the pick for Rookie of the Year. McAdoo was the choice for POY.
The media did a little better picking the order of finish. They had the top seven correct, except for the order of finish. State was the pick for #1 (they finished 4th) While #1 Miami had been picked to finish fifth.

Good stuff. Just goes to show how little these pre-season rankings really mean. We all know they are pretty much meaningless anyway and they're just used for the hype machine...but I hope they're right nonetheless!
