Very much more impressed and happy with State's performance in a losing cause last night overall, Pete Thomas generally played very well.
Still too many mindless penalties (most, if not all, on the offense last night), O-line play still needs to pick up but was generally improved. Rashard Smith looking like he's developing nicely into a needed leader, Thomas showed leadership all night in my opinion. Overall talent level and depth does need to improve, but I like what this coaching staff has done recruiting-wise in a very short time, relatively speaking.
In my opinion, since video footage and zoom photography appeared to confirm this, Bryan Underwood did not step out of bounds: I'm used to it. It's over, moving on.

There were a ton of penalties. I was impressed with how well they held Clemson, though...they bothered Boyd all night long. Good game, Pack!

The key from here on is going to be our D-line in my opinion. The more pressure 4, maybe 5 if we bring a LB, can get on the QB the better off we'll be. Same can be said everywhere, I know, but it is a premium point of emphasis for the Pack, imo.
