Good performance yesterday by the Pack 9 against a solid program. Gotta back it up today, keep the momentum going toward the tournaments.
Go Pack

Agreed. State played a pretty good game, now we just need to get one of the next two and take the series. Still can't believe Rodon threw 101 in the 8th inning though. RODON = BALLER

I assume the half game difference in the standings is a result of the cancellation of State-UNC a couple of weeks ago. A win today puts the pack in good shape, with three games left at Duke, while FSU has three at home against Clemson.
Don't know if it's just coincidence, but since DY arrived, the Pack went to a couple of bowls, the NCAAT twice, are ranked fifth in the nation in baseball and won the ACC title in softball. Considering the lack of athletic success across the board for the past twenty years, that's not too shabby.

Thanks very much for the (as usual) objective observation, Ken.
Yes, I have seen a lot of this as flotsam in the RAL forums, but it's in the national media too (I posted on here in another thread about this, but I think it bears repeating here): If NC State makes moves to try and improve, we're delusional or "ragers" (another favorite term lately). If NC State stands pat, then we're "accepting the status quo" and therefore doomed to continued ineptitude and "accepting" of our "place".
Home is where you hang your hat, and it simply looks like NC State finally has an administration and an athletics department that actually shares the same fervor for Wolfpack Athletics that the alumni and fans do. My, what a novel concept. Refreshing, actually.
Go Pack
