Well looky there! It's going to be an all Harbaugh Super Bowl. Talk about things you don't see every day. Two brothers coaching against each other in the game of all games. I don't really have a favorite for the game. I'm just glad the Patriots aren't in it!
So, I guess I'll say....go Harbaugh! Haha!

"The HarBowl"
I'm a Niner's fan and pull for the Panthers as well. Ray Lewis' story is great, but I'm tired of it already. He has his ring. If he didn't already have one, I MIGHT be inclined to want him to win...but naaahhh...
GO NINERS!!!

Panthers fan from the jump, old divisional rivalries die hard.
Go Ravens!

I'm leaning towards the Ravens because of Ray Lewis. I just have a hard time pulling for a team from the left coast, unless their quarterback is Russell Wilson.

I knew the game was going to be tough. What I didn't expect was all the mistakes by San Francisco. Baltimore played to win. Flacco was sensational. 49ers made several mistakes that were not forced by the Ravens, which ultimately (IMHO) cost them the game:
1). Illegal procedure which negated a 20+ yard completion. 2). Way overthrown ball for interception. 3). Pass interference penalty. 4). Offsides penalties late in the game. 5). Missed tackles in the backfield 6). Dropped passes.
Of course Baltimore forced LaMichael James' fumble, no question about that one.
The power outage was interesting, however, personally I don't think it had any affect on the game...these guys are professionals, if the lights going out makes them lose focus, they shouldn't be playing in the league.
Now, the officiating in this game was horrific. It reminded me of ACC basketball officials. Very inconsistent. Call a penalty on one time, then not call the exact same (and much more obvious) penalty on the other. It was ridiculous. On the safety call. The Ravens absolutely played this the way they were supposed to...they were holding (purposely) like crazy in the end zone. Every. Single. Lineman was holding - no penalty....allows a ton of time to go off the clock. Then the one everyone is talking about...the final offensive play, the no call for defensive holding against Michael Crabtree.
Yes, they were hand checking, then Crabtree stopped, the defender grabbed him (jersey and all) with BOTH HANDS wrapped around him - no flag. The ball was absolutely catchable. would he have been inbounds? We'll never know. However, I don't blame the loss on that single play. I noted several above that really made huge differences in the game.
It's extremely difficult to come back when you're so far down and expect to win...but man was it an awesome 2nd half to watch. Very, very good game and entertaining as well.
Congratulations to the Baltimore Ravens and to the Harbaugh family. It's unprecedented what we saw last night. Harbaugh won and lost the same Superbowl game.
Amazing.

Yep, one hell of a game. The last few super bowls have been sort of lackluster, but that game was very entertaining. The power outage thing......I'm sick of hearing about it on the news. The lights went out, big deal...get over it already.
Anyway, congrats to the Ravens. Here's to hoping for a lot of Burgandy and Gold in next year's super bowl!
