Well what can I say. ANOTHER tough loss to start conference play 0-2. I thought the Heels actually played well in the first half and even the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half. But when you let a good team hang around and can't pull away on your home court, this is what happens. The lack of a strong, consistant inside prescence is killing us. Miami owned the paint. Still not sure why Desmond Hubert is getting alot of minutes, when Brice Johnson has shown he can score and play a little defense down low. It's tough to watch Carolina at times right now. Oh well, maybe we can sneak our first conference win in Tallahassee this weekend.

They're young - "coaching" only goes so far, it's not the answer for everything. These kids need to be given a chance to learn "on the job". Doesn't change the fact I want them to lose on Jan. 26 . It simply means there is, in my mind, a sane and reasonable explanation for why they're struggling. It's much harder for the UNCs, Dukes, UCLAs, UKs, KUs, etc. of the world (America?) to keep churning out the 25-30 win seasons, Final Four berths, and occasional National Titles with the "one-and-done" situation, in my opinion.

I think Marty hit it on the head. Have faith Harnett, I'm sure the Tarheels will be back to form next year, if not later on this year. Although I would be lying if I said I wasn't thrilled with their performance so far this year. Hehe.
