Torn ACL and LCL! I hope the surgery goes well and he's back for next season. Of course I want him back for my Skins, but most importantly for him. He's such a great talent and it would be a tragedy for this injury to ruin what could possibly be a hall of fame career.

'L'CL? What is the'L'? Regardless, two torn ligaments is never good. And did I see on a screen crawler at the PNC bar tonight before the game it's the same knee he hurt at Baylor in 2009? Poor kid, that's some tough damn luck right there. All the best to him for a full recovery.

Hehe, I don't know what a LCL is either, other than it's in the same knee he tore the ACL in. Yep, same knee as 2009. I'm sure he's got a really good surgeon, but either way, he's going to have some tough days ahead while he heals.
Honestly, the worst thing about it is that he seems to be such a good guy. He doesn't boast like other celebrated rookies (a.k.a. Cam Newton), gives the credit to his team members, works his ass off at practice, follows team rules, seems to really appreciate the fans. All around a great ambassador for the NFL. Horrible injuries shouldn't happen to guys like that. No, I don't have a man crush on him, but it saddens me to see such a good guy go through something like this. I feel the same way about Russell Wilson. Not necessarily because he's a Wolfpacker, but because he's a great roll model. The NFL needs more guys like RG3 and RW.

Can't argue with a word you put there, brother.

LCL - Lateral Collateral Ligament
He tore my Cowboys up TWICE this year, but I still hate to see this happen to a good kid and an emerging star in the NFL.....I have to admit this kid is a hell of a player. My only complaint is that the Cowboys will have to face him twice a year for the forseeable future!

Thanks for the clarification Harnett. Yeah, I hope he gets to whoop your Cowboys for a long time to come.

Let's hope not Matt. But I tell you what (and it kills me to say this), RG3 is fun to watch. I'd take him over Cam Newton right now. I pull for the Panthers when they aren't playing the Cowboys, and I'd much rather see a kid like Griffin in Charlotte. Cam is a player, don't get me wrong, but I think RG3 is just a great kid with tremendous talent and upside.

You got that right! I haven't enjoyed watching my Skins as much as I did this year in a long time. I hope this injury doesn't hinder the rest of his career. I want to see him scrambling and throwing those frozen rope passes like he did before he got hurt the first time.
