Man, I don't even know where to start with this one. I watched this game (as it came on after the Duke game) in it's entirety. This team only seems to play with a sense of urgency when they're down big...then they start playing what appears to be defense to make a nice run.
I simply do not understand Roy's coaching style. Does he think you get extra points for not using Timeouts? When Texas was on their huge run in the first half, not a single TO by UNC. That is baffling to me. The turnovers...man, what a difficult thing to watch. Texas played very good defense and their guys really stepped up to the challenge and played well.
UNC should have beaten this team, though. During their comeback in the 2nd half, Roy takes out one of their best shooters in PJ Hairston. Why!? Texas went on another run immediately following that. James McAdoo is not impressive to me at all. If he doesn't have the ball for an easy layup / dunk or short shot, he turns the ball over. Every. Single. Time. Texas was beating their press with ease like it wasn't even happening. Really sad performance. Something needs to change with this team, whether it be the lineup, coaching style or something or it's going to be a very long, sad season for the Heels.

They are somewhat young, and the star player McAdoo is only a sophomore who was largely a role player last year. Just sayin' .....
I don't trust Carolina, I ain't sleeping on them - not for a second.

I'm not either, I'm sure by February they'll have their act together...but so far it's been eerily similar to 2010.
