Multiple sports news outlets are reporting that Larry Fedora of UNC is "interviewing" with Tennessee today about their open position. Very interesting, indeed. After only a year, that would lead me to believe that something is seriously not right there and he wants to run away as fast as he can. Then again, maybe he's just keeping his options open...if he can get some SEC type money, why wouldn't he leave? I understand that he will owe UNC some money if he does depart...but I'm sure UT would make sure it was taken care of somehow.
What are your thoughts folks?

Try as I might, I can't find any source other than tweets and rumors confirming this. No serious media outlets are claiming to have any source that I'm aware of. Until then, I think it's kind of pointless to speculate WHY Fedora would be interested in leaving until we know IF he is interested.

I have still yet to hear a definitive statement one way or the other about the extent of Fedora's interest, or lack thereof, in leaving Carolina. Despite the fact that Tennessee websites seem to have been the original source of speculation and heavy breathing, they seem quiet and subdued now. Between the turndowns by Strong and Gundy and the hiring of Butch Jones, you would almost think they had never even heard of Fedora.
I believe UT was somewhat humbled by what they experienced in their search.

Agreed Ken. Butch Jones, eh? Will they give him more than 2 years or fire him, too?

Don't follow Tennessee, but one would've thought they'd have at least tried to give Coach Dooley five years (one "full" recruiting cycle) after the Lane Kiffin B.S.
Each day that man coaches is one more day too many.
