First off, let me say Poythress from Kentucky is one hell of a basketball player. He's 1 and done for sure. This was a good game to watch!
I like a lot of what I saw from Duke. Good defense for the most part (other than some backdoor cut misses), shooting was pretty good. Overall I thought they performed well.
When Plumlee went out due to foul trouble early in the 2nd half, I thought Duke was in big trouble. I was pleasantly surprised! Josh Hairston really stepped into the role nicely and had some nice put-backs. Part of the reason Duke handled this so well was because they had to go smaller / quicker while Kentucky left their big guys in. That caused some matchup problems and Duke started pulling away with ease.
When Kentucky made their come back toward the end of the game, it was nice to see Curry step into that leadership role and put the game on his shoulders. He handled the adversity extremely well and I was very excited to see them keep their composure and come away with a big time win.
Overall grade, I give Duke a B- on their performance...but much better than what I saw in their first game. Rasheed Sulaimon is going to be one heck of a player...already is, but he's going to be very good!
Still have a long way to go and some areas that need improving...but overall I was pretty pleased with the performance.

Good win for Duke and the ACC. Both teams will only continue to improve this season. Fun season starting to unfold right now.

I watched the game and was very happy to see the Blue Devils whip the Wildcats. Plumlee looked really good except for the foul trouble and Curry was on fire! Like Marty said, it's going to be an exciting season.
I'm recording the State game tomorrow to watch when I get home.
