Anybody see the race today? Wow! What a finish!
Wreck...fight...wreck
NASCAR should have made sure the oil was off the track before doing the green/white/checker, and should have thrown the caution before that last wreck happened. Anyway, it was a crazy end to the race.
Yall know I'm a fan of the Chevy guys and I despise Toyota being in NASCAR, but Gordon definitely wrecked Bowyer on purpose.

Oh, Gordon admitted that he did it on purpose. He said he got tired of Bowyer's crap and bumping him the whole race so he spun him....then Jeff ended up getting jumped by Bowyer's teammates. Crazy!

He's always been able to dish it out, he's never been able to take it. His reaction Sunday was CUH-LASSIC Jeff Gordon - gets his undies in a bunch whenever anybody gets too close to him.
Then, he likes to give the whole Twisted Sister routine (you know, the "I'm Not Gonna Take It" B.S.), like when he marched down pit road and two-hand shoved Matt Kenseth at Bristol several years back - WITH HIS HELMET AND HANS DEVICE STILL ON!!! Or when he marched halfway down the backstretch at Texas to confront Jeff Burton - WITH HIS HELMET AND HANS DEVICE STILL ON!!! Or when Rusty Wallace spun him out at Richmond after Gordon twice bumped and ran Wallace to win races; Wallace hit Gordon in the exact same point of the turn, on the exact same spot of the rear bumper, yet Gordon couldn't save it on a slower, flatter track. Gordon's response was "somebody can't handle being passed".
What happened Sunday was another manifestation of the Silverspoon Hendrick I'm Thesolereasonanybodywatchestheseraces Syndrome: Gordon has always thought he was untouchable and beyond reproach - docking him 25 points and fining him $100 large is bogus - they should dock him the maximum number of points (48) after "resetting" him at 0 AFTER the Daytona 500 as well as fine him whatever he wins in prize money AFTER the Daytona 500. He can run the race if he wants to, but it won't do him any good. Oh, and by the way, put him on probation until Dec. 31 - 2013. And, if he wins, the trophy goes to the 2nd place finisher.
Doing what they've done now? Dock him 25 points now? Who cares? He's headed for a crappy finish in points anyway (no surprise there - he's no longer the chosen one at HMS, that little spot belongs to Jimmmmmmeeeeeee). Fine him $100K? Who cares? He's got that much under the mattress.
Screw him. Candy ass. Acted like a spoiled brat that didn't get his way. One final question - what other driver that you've ever heard of being involved in an incident like this needed POLICE "PROTECTION"? Pansy.

I've never really cared for Gordon. I've always seen him as a spoiled little brat...since he started in NASCAR I've disliked him. He's got this I'mbetterthaneverybodyelse attitude and Marty, you're exactly right. When things don't go his way he throws his tantrums.
Pansy-ass indeed.

Damn, Tiz. All this seeing eye-to-eye, yet you're a Duke fan. Doesn't figure ...
