How did your team do? Are you disappointed in any picks? Did anything leave you scratching your head a bit?
Overall, I think the Panthers did "okay". They needed a little more meat on the D-Line and secondary more than anything. They did pick up a good punt returner, too. I'm not ecstatic about the picks, but I do feel they could have done better.

I think the Redskins did very well. I'm also happy that State had 5 players drafted, the second most out of all the ACC schools.

I was definitely surprised to see my Cowboys trade up to 6th overall to get Claiborne. None of the mock drafts, websites, etc. mentioned him as a possible target for Dallas. Hopefully he can be the shut-down corner that we have needed for so long. As for their other picks, they filled some holes at positions of need. No big names, but hopefully these guys can contribute as well. I thought Danny Coale (WR/Virginia Tech) was an interesting pick. Kiper and McShay had nothing but good things to say about this kid. He's a kid who will not overwhelm you (although he did run in the 4.3 range), but not many players will work harder. Dallas needs guys like that. McShay even called him the "blue light special" of the draft, going in the 5th round and, you will remember, he can even punt in a pinch!! Can't wait to see all the new guys in the silver and blue.
