Well, it's that time. The ole "Battle of the Blues" is tonight at 9:00pm. I used to get all geeked up for this game, but the past few years I really haven't. Maybe it's because I'm getting older, I don't know.
I think Duke wins this game, but I'm not going to go all in and say they'll win big. UNC will be hungry after getting shellacked at Miami. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Carolina pulled it off. As the old saying goes "in this rivalry, anything can happen". Duke had a piss-poor performance at BC and should have lost if not for the missed shot at the end it would have been over. I hope they can regroup and play like they did the previous two games. Come out hot and knock down some 3s and get Mason going early. I have a feeling they're going to go at him to try to get him in foul trouble, but we'll see.
I won't get to watch the first few minutes of the game, my oldest son has a make-up game tonight at 8, which pisses me off, but it is what it is. Either way, I'm hoping Duke comes out on top. On one hand, I'd love for Duke to blow them out 82-50 style, but on the other, I'd love to see some crazy overtimes, but I highly doubt any OT will be needed.
With that being said....GO DUKE!

Duke managers beat UNC managers in the annual "Duke / UNC Manager's challenge" game on a 3 point buzzer beater.

Duke's Mascot head was stolen and placed above a UNC university store! haha! The rivalry lives on!

Duke kids should kidnap the ram, shave his body, cover the top and back of his skin with non-toxic white face paint, and paint his horns dark blue.
NO HARM SHOULD COME TO THE INNOCENT LIVE ANIMAL, ALL IN GOOD FUN ONLY!!!
Of course, if the ram is shaved, he must be kept warm somehow.
Maybe this is better done during football season?
Still hard to beat what UCLA kids did at their dorms prior to the USC game this fall. You gotta google it.

I'll check it out, Marty.
Well, exactly what I thought would happen, did. Roy changed the lineup, which has been a long time coming in my opinion. UNC came out with intensity and that fire needed to win. Duke was sloppy...really sloppy in the first half. How they were only down by 5 after shooting just 25% in the first half is kind of remarkable. I have to give UNC credit, though. They came to play. That's the best game I've seen them play all year, end to end. Especially on defense. Plumlee looked lost for a while, Cook was turning the ball over like crazy.
To think the man with the most 3s for Duke was Tyler Thornton. What? Tyler Thornton? Yes, Tyler Thornton. veteran players always seem to step up big right when they're needed. Sometimes it's the usual players, but others it's like it was last night. Tyler played a really really great game. He was defending 3 different positions and doing a damn good job at it. He was the spark Duke needed to open the game up a little bit and ultimately helped Duke win.
Here's my question: Was that Carolina's best shot? It's certainly the best I've seen them this year. To think Duke got their best shot and still ended up winning is pretty remarkable if you ask me. It may go differently in the Dean Dome...but I honestly don't expect UNC to win that one, either...especially if Duke got their best shot last night.
The next game that scares me is at Maryland. Duke has to come out to play right from the tip. Stop playing down to the competition and play like you're capable of playing. If they do that, they're going to have a good ending to this year.

That was one heck of a game last night. I was surprised at how many mistakes Duke made in the first half, but the way Carolina was playing, they created mistakes. I have to give it to the Tarholes, they played their asses off. Glad Duke came out with the win though. Yep, they better watch out for Maryland. They are always tough at home. Just ask the Wolfpack.

Good afternoon. Of course, I would like to check it casinoanalyser.com/ before starting playing for real money in a casino. After all, it is a difficult choice: which club to choose. Cash games can bring both joy and a pleasant aftertaste, as well as disappointment. The casino chosen has a very big influence on my attitude. Somewhere they quickly withdraw money, support helps with problems, a lot of interesting games, and in another casino, you will find boring slots and withdrawals within a month. Who agrees with me? Should I check the casino?
